Happy New Year & Peace on Earth to everyone
Be they friend or be they foe.

May your night be filled with fun and drink
Especially if your wearing Pink.

I'd tell you all to have a ball
But that is not what Suzy and Katie are looking for!

We'll see you all in the new year,
Which I plan to make fun and exciting.

And may our congress critters actually
make a resolution to together and keep it.

For Robin

A door opened and closed today

For which I can only say horay

Because behind that closed door

Had been hidding and American Icon.

When Robin came out of that door,

Some self-rightous jaws hit the floor.

How will they deal with this news,

That one of Americas most respected

Persons is in fact gay.

We know her of her bravery,

And of her sister deep lover.

We know of her integretary,

And trust her as a visionary.

So what has changed,

Since she came out the door.

For me nothing has changed

She is still the Robin we all adhore.

FIRST BLUSH Update

Wow, it's really going to happen..  I finished verifying that all of the corrections to the original Galley Pages were made, and they get a 100%.

Monday it should be heading into the final phase of production, and I should have a release date soon.

Have a great New Year, and party like it is the last day of a Year of 13's.  Plus we have the added benefit of a full moon to help the wild thing come out of all of us. I know what Suzy and Katie are going to be doing at midnight!!!!!!!

Story Genesis

Did you ever have a story in you that you just had to let out?

That was the driving force, behind the story of Suzy and Katie.  It began, of all places, in one of the early adult Yahoo Chat rooms, where one could role play. I won’t say who I was, but it became a recurring role, for a very enjoyable period of time.

The roll became so entrenched in my both my sub-conscious and conscious self that the story began to expand, and I began to put it on paper, well into my computers memory really.  Once it started to flow out of me, it just seemed to pour out and grow of its own accord.

Over the next three and a half years, I was never truly sure if I was myself or one of the main characters in the books.  Five books and over two thousand pages later the story seemed to come to its own conclusion.

First Blush News

Got a call from my publisher, Xlibris yesterday.
Galleys have been sent to editing, to make the corrections I made during my review.
I should get the corrected galleys back early next week for a final review.
Things are progressing nicely. And yes I am getting excited publishing this book and the rest of the series

Wishing one and all a Joyous Holiday, and may you share it with the ones you love.

It's three days till Christmas,
And all through the house,
Not a creature is stirring,
Not even a mouse.

My pillow awaits me,
in my big bed alone.
I hope at least one of my five cats
Joins me, so that I am not all alone.

With five cats on the prowl,
No mouse would dare enter
my home and domain,
Even after two days of flooding rain.

So its off to bed I go,
With confidence high
That the only tracks on me in the morn,
Will be from and cats and I.

First Blush

The edited galley proof for both the cover and the interior has been completed and sent to the publisher today.

Now I have to wait and see if the fruits of my labor are accepted by the reading public.

I would like to wish you all a very wonderful holiday, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanza, or which ever holiday you are celebrating this week.

Hopefully early in 2014 I will be releasing the first of a series of 5 books written about two 30 something women.

These will all be e-books, and should be available in Kindle, Nook, Sony and other formats.

The title of the first book is First Blush
